We've got a lot of exciting things to tell you about, especially about the Silent and Live Art Auction, so without further adieu, here they are CONTENTS:
1. Project is Numero-uno
----------- 1. Project is Numero-uno -----------
This afternoon I attended a briefing by Drew Johnston at Jim Darcy's house on putting the ideal org there in the San Fernando Valley. Drew's briefing was very informative and also extremely humorous making it very uptone and OT®. I personally realized that this project is numero-uno for all Scientologists® to get behind for several reasons. One is that it gives us a place to bring selectees to that is safe and upstat where they'll be able to find out for themselves what Scientology® is because of the Div 6 displays and therefore cognite and move up The Bridge®. Another is that it puts an Org there that Scientologists living in the Valley can be proud to call their own and they can use as a basis for their own field activities.
I had this idea before that the Valley and Pasadena orgs were kind of secondary and ancillary to the Complex and CC Int, but I realize now this is not the case. They are areas that both need and deserve to have Ideal Orgs that stand alone as the center of their communities.
I also learned that although the order of magnitude of $10-15 million for the new building and it's renovations and furnishings is big, it is not that much for the 5000+ Scientologists in the area to put there as a group. If each donated $250/month ($8 per day) we'd have it in a year. That is not much more than a lot of people spend on Starbucks!! However, we need it NOW! So, if each donated $2,000 we would have the money needed.
I also learned that one of the major steps is to simply locate a building. This I can help do by simply keeping my eyes and ears open as I travel around. There has got to be a building of 40-60,000 sq foot in the central San Fernando Valley for sale that would work and with enough of us tone 40 about looking for it, we'll find it.

Cirrus is our Director of OT Production. She has contributed greatly in the last 2 years as an OTC member. She has been continually taking on more and more responsibility. A year ago she moved up to the Director of OT Production, replacing Jane Dockery who opened a mission in Simi Valley. More recently, Claire Taylor the OTC I/C for the Flag OT Committee joined staff at LA Foundation. Cirrus stepped up and took over her the post and is now running the Flag® OTC as well as being a fully active member on the Valley Org OTC.
Cirrus always puts her very big shoulder to the wheel. She is an excellent example of an OT taking responsibility across the dynamics. We are extremely proud to have her on our team.

It’s because he will not take responsibility for others than himself. You want to know why somebody doesn’t organize a group or carry it along. It’s because he’s unwilling to take responsibility for others than himself. Ability Congress
